FIL Rainbow Baby Specialist

I am very proud to say I have taken part in the specialist training offered by The Foundation for Infant Loss Training.

By taking part in their training, I now feel better able to support a grieving parent with their loss of a baby or infant.

Below are some examples of how this training helps me to help you:

  • There’s no right time for when you seek support.

  • It will affect both fathers and mothers.

  • Grief can occur by losing a baby at any stage of pregnancy or birth.

  • Grief can occur however you lost your pregnancy or baby.

  • You may have older siblings.

  • You may wish to have future children.

  • You may have had children since your loss.

  • The grandparents may be struggling with the loss too.

  • The support you had was not sufficient.

  • You’ve carried the weight of guilt.

  • Your relationship may have altered since your loss.

  • Your faith has not helped you.

This list is not exhaustive.  We’re all individuals and had unique experiences of the above grief.

If you would like support, please contact me for warm, empathetic, non-judgemental therapy.  I can reach out as a fellow human and someone who had their whole future changed by the loss of a baby.
